Messages in bottles were last ditch efforts calling for rescue or desperate goodbyes to loved ones. History has recorded thousands of bottles, but are they all real? GLCC's favorite history story teller Ric Mixter investigates and adds new information to famous and unknown messages on the ocean and the Great Lakes.

Ric presents interesting stories from the research from his book Bottled Goodbyes which chronicles the most famous messages found in bottles all around the world.

Ric’s research found three from Titanic and an abandoned message from Christopher Columbus.

Featuring over a dozen Great Lakes messages from the 1913 Storm and famous ships like the Bannockburn and Rouse Simmons, this webinar is packed with new discoveries and old favorite stories.
