Dee McClure

Body
Dee cruises extensively in the Great Lakes and is an active member of the GLCC. Dee holds a USCG 50 GRT Masters License, is a certified ASA Instructor and is a Vessel Safety Examiner for the Grand Traverse Sail and Power Squadron.

Like other fellow GLCC members, Dee has spent her life messing about with boats. Dee is an avid sailor with a background in PHRF racing on the East Coast.  Recently moving from an 38' Island Packet sailboat to a BackCove powerboat, appropriately named "Seaquel", she fulfills her sailing appetite as crew aboard schooners “Alliance” and “Inland Seas” which introduce school age children to sailing and the science of the Great Lakes. Dee enjoys spending summer months "out and about" exploring all the Great Lakes have to offer with her husband and pups and sharing cruising experiences with others.  Dee is a GLCC Port Captain for Suttons Bay, Michigan and also a Director of the GLCC.

Join this free webinar to get updated information on the safety equipment required by the United States Coast Guard and Transport Canada for your boat and dinghy. Safety requirements change from time to time, so listen in to ensure you are prepared for the upcoming boating season and save yourself potential non-compliance fines.
