Starting at the Straits of Mackinac, they explore the wilderness shore of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, the holiday hideaway of the Door Peninsula, the cities and historical industries of Wisconsin, the urban area of Chicago, and the sand dunes and shores of Lake Michigan.
In this webinar Vic and Sue will share information about the ports that they visited, the serendipitous experiences that they had along the way, and provide a couple of strategies for people that don't necessarily want to do a complete circumnavigation.
Meet The Instructor
Vic and Sue Camaiore
Co-port Captains Vic and Sue Camaiore have been sailors for over 30 years. They currently sail on "Inspiration" an Island Packet 350. They have sailed on Lakes Superior, Huron, Michigan and Erie. Home is the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair. They are recent winners of the GLCC Founder's Award for their article about their circumnavigation of Lake Michigan.
